The Gobi Desert in Mongolia has long been associated with the fabled land of Shamballa. How many of us have thought to go there? Bruce Lyon and his wife Sharon visited the Gobi in August 2007 and this is the story of their journey. They travelled through the desert to several sacred sites, including the temple of Danzan Ravjaa, the fifth Lord of the Gobi. The inner and the outer journeys are interwoven, the richness of their experience contextualised by the legend of Shamballa and an account of the effects of the energy of this centre upon our planetary life and the evolution of humanity.
